Covid-19 Update

We are doing our part and help get everyone through the current dilemma. We will be consolidating some of our clinics but otherwise continue to provide urgent and emergency dental care. We will be donating our extra supplies to local hospitals to help them in their effort to better care for those affected.

To also help, we are now expanding our hours in some of our clinics from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.  We hope these extended hours will not only better serve our patients but will help keep dental emergencies from overloading value space in emergency rooms.

Will my dental procedure hurt?

Sedation Dentistry Portland ORIf you have had a painful dental experience in the past, our team would like to know. Many of our patients require extra reassurance to follow through with their dentistry. You might be surprised to learn that many of our patients have memories of bad dental experiences that keep them away from the dental office today. Unfortunately, avoiding basic dental care leads to painful teeth and dental emergencies.

Our team is here to reassure you that pain-free dentistry is possible. Even if you have difficulty getting numb or feel anxiety every time you call our Portland dental office, you can rest assured that we will take excellent care of you.

We believe that our gentle approach to treatment and our compassionate team will put you at ease, but we also understand that some patients will still need help feeling comfortable for their treatment. This is why we offer nitrous oxide and oral sedation dentistry at NE Dental Associates.

The Sedation Dentistry Process

We will always completely numb your tooth before we begin treatment. We use professional strength topical anesthetic before any injections, practically eliminating discomfort. Our dentists leave plenty of time for the anesthetic to take effect so that you barely feel a thing.

You are always in the driver’s seat when it comes to your treatment. We can take a break or make necessary adjustments to ensure you feel completely comfortable. Contact our Portland dental office to book an appointment.
